Ingredients
  

Salt and Tajin Rim

  • 1 tbsp Himalayan salt
  • 1-2 dashes tajin to taste
  • 1 lime wedge

Rhubarb Margarita

  • 1.5 oz tequila reposado or blanco
  • .75 oz cointreau
  • 1 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1.5 oz rhubarb syrup how to make rhubarb syrup

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Glass: on a flat plat combine salt and tajin, ensure they are well mixed. Cut a small notch in the lime, and then place over the edge of the glass. Run it along half the glass ensuring it is fully covered in lime juice. Dip the entire rim of your glass into the plate with salt. To prevent salt from getting inside the glass, hold it at a forty-five-degree angle and slowly rotate it through the salt.
  • Make Margarita: add tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and rhubarb syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake for 10 seconds.
  • Serve: add a few ice cubes to the prepared glass. Strain margarita mixture into the glass and enjoy.
